Gasnam and the Spanish Association of Biogas sign a collaboration agreement on sustainable mobility

Naturgy GASNAM
Gasnam, Iberian Association of Natural Gas and Renewable Gas for Mobility, and AEBIG, Spanish Association of Biogas, have signed a collaboration agreement on sustainable mobility with renewable gas for all types of transport.

With this agreement both institutions express their willingness to cooperate in the organization and development of activities to promote research, innovation and technological development, promoting the establishment of synergies between both entities through joint activities and other initiatives, all for the benefit of the society in general and in terms of renewable gas for mobility.

Joaquín Mendiluce, president of Gasnam and director of new business of Naturgy, assures that the signing of this agreement is "the commitment by both associations to collaborate in the difficult task of promoting the use of non-electric renewable energy in transportation. Renewable gas is a clean energy with a zero CO2 emissions balance and guarantees air quality in cities".

On the other hand, Francisco Repullo, president of AEBIG, declares a double satisfaction with the signing of the agreement, since, "on the one hand, it shows the true will of all the agents to make this technology viable, with all the benefits that reports to society and, on the other hand, the confirmation that AEBIG is the benchmark in the biogas and biomethane sector ".
