Naturgy celebrates a Tech Breakfast to talk about energy solutions to impulse the circular economy, including the LIFE Methamorphosis Project

Tech Breakfast
On June 27, Naturgy held a Tech Breakfast on the different solutions that companies and organizations in the energy sector are putting on the table, both to mitigate the effects of climate change and to boost the circular economy that should govern the energy of the future.

The meeting divided into three blocks:
  • The first block dedicated to strengthening natural capital and biodiversity.
  • The second block was related climate change, highlighting the opportunities and risks involved in the energy transition.
  • The third block focused on the circular economy. Carmen Guinea, of renewable gas projects in the new business development unit of Nedgia, explained how "renewable gas valorises waste in a circular economy improves environmental management, creates synergies with the agro-industry, supports rural development and contributes to security of supply and energy independence". In this block, it was included a presentation of the LIFE Methamorphosis project.

The event ended with a varied round of questions, where the experts delved into the topics discussed and left open the door to new concerns and ideas about the energy of the future, which will be sustainable and circular.
